Pilot Mini Gas Alarm
This is the entry level, single channel gas alarm. It has one gas detection sensor on a 3.5 meter length of 3-core cable. It has the capability to be linked to a Gas Valve Controller to shut off the gas supply, or a relay to bring on blower fans. The unit draws 90 milliamps at standby rising to 100 milliamps in the event of an alarm.

Pilot Dual Gas Alarm
This is the Mini Gas Alarm's big brother. It has all the features of the Mini, but with the added benefit of two sensors on 3.5 meters of 3-core cable. The Dual Gas Alarm, or Twin, has been recently redesigned with some useful extra features:
- It has been given an extra terminal on the board so that a relay can be added to activate the blower fans in the event of an alarm.
- This extra terminal can alternatively be used as a network terminal to allow any number of Dual Alarms to be 'chained' together. This is particularly useful on larger vessels as it allows you to have a Control unit and at least one detector in most rooms, yet if the unit at the other end of the vessel alarms, all the units will activate. The unit that detected the original leak will be identifiable by a bright LED.
The twin is designed for use with a 12/24 volts supply and draws 180 milliamps at standby, rising to 210 milliamps
in the event of an alarm.

Pilot Gas Monitoring System
This unit is a hybrid
of the Dual Gas Alarm and the Gas Valve Controller. However, the Gas Monitoring System cannot be used to bring on the blower fans. It has two sensors like the Dual, yet it can also shut off the gas supply if a leak is detected. It is designed to be used as a remote switch for the gas supply and comes complete with a high quality solenoid valve. This unit has also been redsigned to allow it to be 'chained' to the Dual Gas Alarm as described above. This unit draws 170 milliamps on standby, 470 milliamps with the valve open and 210 milliamps in alarm mode.

Pilot Gas Valve Controller
This unit is the only unit not to have any sensors. It is designed for use on its own as a remote, electronic switch for a solenoid valve or for linking with the Mini or Dual Gas Alarms as a gas shutdown system. It is supplied with the same high quality solenoid valve as the Gas Monitoring System. With the valve closed this controller draws 215 milliamps and 520 milliamps with the valve open.

Pilot Carbon Monoxide Detector
This stand-alone unit has one, internal Carbon Monoxide sensor, which monitors
its environment and has different alarm sounds depending on the levels of CO that are present. This system's current draw is very low.

Pilot Dual Fuel Control and Safety System
This product is designed specifically for marine gas conversions, to meet the requirements of Calor gas and the L.P.G.A., and is the safest and most advanced system on the market. Available for single or twin engine, inboard or outboard applications, this system allows you to enjoy the economy of LPG as a fuel, in the safest of environments. This unit is also manufactured for dedicated LPG engines.
Alternatively sized Solenoid valves
The Gas Monitoring System and Gas Valve controller are supplied with the same valve, which has a 1/4" bsp fitting and 6mm orifice. Valves with 3/8" and 1/2" bsp fittings and larger orifices are also available. However these require slight software modifications so an extra charge is incurred.

Replacement Detector Heads
Although our detectors are reliable, sometimes they can become contaminated, thereby altering their sensitivity, or sometimes, because of the nature of the application, they can get wet. We do put our sensors in a protective cover but accidents do happen and for this reason, replacement detector heads are available, at short notice from us. They can be supplied as they first came on a 3.5-meter length of cable, or alternatively, we can supply them on a connector block with a short length of cable. This means the old/damaged connector can simply be cut off, doing away with the need for any re-wiring.
All the above products are supplied in a very attractive, easy to install powder coated aluminium box. All units are available in 12/24 volt versions. With the exception of the Detector heads, everything in the Pilot range is covered by a 12 month manufacturer's warranty. It is also possible for us to make up custom panels incorporating one or more of the products to your specification to suit your vessel.
